If you know a car fan you know that part of the fun are the after market, which is examining new models as they enter the showroom. It's just something special about a new car: the smell, the look, the price tag! For approximately 17 million American drivers a new car is in the future, while many others opt for the used car market. Some of the cars on the market today are hot, hot, hot! Let's take a look at some new and future offerings from Dodge.
Due in part to a new owner [DaimlerBenz bought the Chrysler Corporation in 1998], a new infusion of great looking Dodge models have found a showroom near you. Additional models will follow shortly and the make-up that was obtained Dodge, is nothing less than astounding. Here are some of my favorites:
Magnum - Who says that a combination of a family should look like tractors? The Magnum is not secure. Charger - Okay, so the new Charger has four doors. Well, you can not have it all. You can look macho to have a strong engine, and compete with a car that is safe, with nothing, Japan or Germany throws his way. Word is that DaimlerChrysler a coupe version is considering. Well that was not cool!
Caliber - Bye, bye Neon. The Dodge Neon was good, but it is not in the sameCaliber as the Caliber. Pun intended. To be launched in spring 2006 as a 2007 model, the Caliber will have three engines to choose from: 1.8, 2.0 and 2.4 I4s, a constantly available transaxle and four wheel drive.
