Has starting a * click * sound when you start your car?
Every time you start the ignition, the starter just * click * one time?
That is probably the starter solenoid.
If it goes, * click-click-click-click * and so on, there can be only a weak battery.
A battery to the starter a few times * click * * * Not enough juice in it to turn to the starter to make the flywheel to go back to the crankshaft on the turnmake the engine start to ... phew!
An easy way to tell whether the battery is to blame, turn on the headlights, the ignition and start again.
If and when the lights go out, then the battery is probably responsible for such damage.
Of course, you have to run really fast after the start position to see whether the lights go out ... or have someone watch out for when you hit. :-)
You can use a small inexpensive charger in most shopping centers or partsstore.
The best way to a trickle chargers * * usage is in the batter's free all night or all day, depending on what you like.
You can try to recharge the battery. If it is running again, then you need to do something.
After removing the battery terminals from the battery when you post * have * type, and clean the post and the inside of the cable clamp.
If you have the side mount only loosen the 8mm bolt and clean the terminal, where it comes intoContact with the battery. Clean the part on the battery too. :-)
Sometimes the battery is to build a lot of corrosion on the outside of the cable clamp.
When this happens, typically, the inner part of the clamp and to create after a hard metallic surface.
This stops the flow of electricity from the alternator to the battery.
When the battery's reserve, it's gone, no longer be put in.
If the vehicle is notCrank, they can be run from the alternator, which is not good. :-(
If cleaning the post and charging the battery can not solve the problem, you may need a new one.
Listening does not run on the nearest supermarket and buy a battery * *.
Take your battery to a place that sells batteries and have verified it.
If it is where old batteries will go away, then you will need to buy a new device.
You can also have other problems ... such as the alternator, the voltagethe alternator ... a few things that might be the battery is low ... you have the parking lights on when you parked to go shopping? :-)
